CONGRESS, WITH CONTEXT
Find a bill. Understand its impact. Follow what changes.
The live bill catalog is waiting for the api.data.gov key. Lobbying search already uses official public records.
We keep proposed changes, possible effects, and unanswered questions separate. A party label tells you who introduced a bill; it doesn’t tell you whether the bill is good or bad.
PICK UP WHERE YOU LEFT OFF
The bills you’re following, with the original record always one step away.

Phone alerts need a delivery service, opt-in, and device testing. Saving preferences does not enable phone notifications.
FROM PROPOSAL TO LAW
Seven stages to help you follow a House bill. Some stages are optional, and many bills never become law.
EVIDENCE FIRST
Bill records come from Congress.gov. Full text is fetched from official Congress.gov or GovInfo documents and tied to a specific version. Disclosures come from LDA.gov. Missing text, contacts, or records remain marked as unavailable.
“Democratic-sponsored” or “Republican-sponsored” refers to the primary sponsor’s recorded party. Cosponsors are listed separately, including their party. Cross-party cosponsorship describes participation, not how members will vote.
AI explanations identify who, what, when, where, and how; possible beneficiaries and costs; and uncertainty. Rights concerns require an exact quotation in the supplied text. Quote checking verifies the words, not the legal interpretation. Findings are AI-generated and not human-reviewed.
An empty list of concerns is not proof that a bill has no harmful effects. A bill may amend laws that require further research. Large bills beyond the current analysis limit retain their full original text and show a clear analysis limit.
A bill-number match is verified against disclosure wording. Numbers repeat across Congresses, and a filing may not specify the Congress. Review the source and year before drawing a connection. A lack of matches does not establish that no lobbying occurred. Disclosures can be delayed, amended, or incomplete.
